I can smell the scent of change on the wind (or actually it might be that diaper pail, hmm.). Either way, we are fast approaching a time of transition. We have been here at Trinity for the past three years and this summer (after a few summer courses) Daniel will be wrapping up his degree (except an internship). We also have a new addition due in April, did I mention that?

So within the next few months we have to decide:
1. Where will he do his internship? It is required to be at least 13weeks of 40 hours a week, but could end up being up to a year, depending on the program. Do we stay here in Chicago to do that or do we move somewhere else? We live on campus, so if we stayed in Chicago, chances are we would have to move anyway because he wouldn't be taking enough credit hours for us to stay on campus.

2. Where does he look for a job?
We were hoping that he could get in internship that might lead into a job, but it looks like it might have to be separate and that we might have to move twice.

3. Does Mama work or not?
If he gets a paid internship somewhere, great! Problem solved. If he gets an unpaid internship then it looks like mama will have to work nights (because remember internship is full time) and then who will be watching little MooMoo and Bobo?

Good times, these are the things we have in prayer right now, so please keep them in your prayers as well. We look forward to how God is going to work them all out!

hi ariella - i saw your blog from a post on dina's. just came by to check it out and oh my goodness - the picture you have at the top (your mom and you kids) brought back my best martin family memories. abby was my self-declared best friend then, and i remember coming to visit you guys at those apartments so many times. i was scarred when she moved away and became my kiddo penpal. so scarred that i've been moving away from my friends ever since. anyhow, just laughed out loud when i saw the pic.

i hear you on the student, job, move twice, paid or not, etc. we're in the same boat with john in grad school but finishing in a year or so. always something to keep you on your toes!
